The use of traveling is to regulate imagination with reality, and instead of thinking of how things may be, see them as they are.”

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHY IS THAILAND SO POPULAR?

A wonderful climate and gorgeous scenery are just two factors why Thailand has grown so popular in recent years. Thailand has also worked hard on its economic infrastructure to ensure that travel within the country is easy and safe. Add to this a fascinating culture and a low-cost of living and it’s easy to see why Thailand is on the bucket-list for so many travelers.

Being a Buddhist nation, wellness is also ingrained in the culture of Thai people. You’ll find the locals friendly, kind and laid-back, taking everyday ups and downs in their stride. And with the advancement of the tourist industry has come some real modernization to the wellness sector. Although all the treatments that you’ll find on Thailand retreats will be based on traditional methods, you’ll also find plenty of luxurious resorts where you can enjoy the best of both worlds, old and new.

IS IT SAFE TO TRAVEL TO THAILAND?

Yes! As with any travel, keep your belongings close to you at all times and stick to busy areas if you’re alone, especially at night. It’s safer to avoid any political demonstrations, and to be sure of the price of taxis before you agree any journey.

Thailand is mostly safe and laidback but it’s worth being abreast of some of the more stringent laws. Littering anywhere can land you in trouble, taking photos of some religious buildings (or indeed the royal family) is strictly a no-no, and you have to be at least 20 years old before you can drink alcohol.

WHAT'S THE BEST MONTH TO GO TO THAILAND?

Like many countries in South-East Asia, Thailand has a wet and a dry season. It also has a colder season. The hottest part of the year comes in February and lasts until May. The wet season lasts from May until October, with the colder season following. The cold months are largely dry.

But there’s never a bad time to visit Thailand! The rainy season brings about some of the greenest landscapes you’ll see in the world, and for some, the hottest part of the year is simply too hot as it’ll push 40 degrees for around three months. But no matter when you travel, you’re sure to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
